The Dirty Blondes presents
BOMBSHELL BENEFIT
May 9, 2016
The Gene Frankel Theatre
The Gene Frankel Theatre
The evening featured live music and a scene from THE BRITNEY PROJECT (a musical improv dramedy exploring grand puppetry of pop culture with a certain pop star), a scene from THE AMERICAN PLAY (winner of Overall Excellence in Playwriting and part of the SoHo Playhouse “Best of Fest: Fringe Encore Series") and a sneak preview of a new work by Ashley.
We highlighted some of the relationships we’ve made with kickass playwrights through our Play-in-a-Day Festivals by asking a few alums to write a new play which will revive a prompt from one of our past five festivals.
